Al Pastor Pineapple Burger
Ingredients
- 1 lb organic beef
- 4 brioche burger buns
- Pineapple slices
- Tenayo Al Pastor BBQ sauce
- 2 heirloom tomatoes
- 1 jalapeno
- 1 onion
- ½ lb thick-cut bacon
- Cheese of your choice
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Dice the onion, tomato, and jalapeno. In a pan, add oil and saute.
- Mix ground beef with salt and pepper and portion into 4 burger patties. Place in a hot pan or grill. Cook to your liking, top with cheese, and cover them to melt. Remove from heat.
- Cook bacon in a pan or in the oven at 350 degrees for 20 min.
- Once your onion, tomato, and jalapeno are lightly browned, add Tenayo Al Pastor BBQ sauce and remove from heat.
- Slice a wheel from the pineapple and remove the core. Place on a grill or in a hot saute pan to sear.
- Toast your bun and stack burger, tomato chutney, seared pineapple, and more Tenayo Al Pastor BBQ Sauce.
- Serve and enjoy!
