Al Pastor Pineapple Burger


  • 1 lb organic beef
  • 4 brioche burger buns
  • Pineapple slices
  • Tenayo Al Pastor BBQ sauce
  • 2 heirloom tomatoes
  • 1 jalapeno
  • 1 onion
  • ½ lb thick-cut bacon
  • Cheese of your choice
  • Salt and pepper to taste


  1. Dice the onion, tomato, and jalapeno. In a pan, add oil and saute.
  2. Mix ground beef with salt and pepper and portion into 4 burger patties. Place in a hot pan or grill. Cook to your liking, top with cheese, and cover them to melt. Remove from heat.
  3. Cook bacon in a pan or in the oven at 350 degrees for 20 min.
  4. Once your onion, tomato, and jalapeno are lightly browned, add Tenayo Al Pastor BBQ sauce and remove from heat.
  5. Slice a wheel from the pineapple and remove the core. Place on a grill or in a hot saute pan to sear.
  6. Toast your bun and stack burger, tomato chutney, seared pineapple, and more Tenayo Al Pastor BBQ Sauce.
  7. Serve and enjoy!
