Cacao Chile Hot Chocolate

Ingredients

  • 2 cups whole milk (or milk of choice)
  • 1 tablespoon Tenayo Cacao Chile Mexican-Style Barbecue Sauce
  • 2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 ounce dark chocolate (70% cacao or higher), chopped
  • Optional: whipped cream, ground cinnamon

Instructions

Place milk, Cacao Chile Mexican-Style Barbecue Sauce, cocoa powder and sugar in a small saucepan. Heat over medium-low heat, whisking frequently until warm, about 5 minutes. Add dark chocolate and whisk constantly until melted. Pour into two mugs and top with whipped cream and a sprinkle of cinnamon, as desired.
